Do you pinch-out the side-shoots on GD tomatoes?

I always did to ensure bumper crop at the craft fair.
Sorry....couldn`t resist.:-) Grew these for years and always pinched out side shoots.
You'll get a myriad of answers... some do... some don't. I've raised heirloom tomatoes for years and I don't bother trimming them anymore. I see no difference in the yield...
If I remember rightly this answer is no coz they are cherry toms which don't need pinching out. I grew them on my balcony last year and did very very little pinching out and got loads of toms
pinch if you want large toms. I pinch as I grow organic & to reduce watering.
I pinched after 10-12 trusses had set with 3 plants I had hundreds of tomatoes
Toms are either determinate, aka bush tomatoes which set their fruit , give or take, at the same time. Indeterminate are vine toms which need the shoots in the leaf axils pinching out. Gardeners delight falls into the latter group.
If you want a great bush Tom with loads of tasty fruit, try Vilma. No pinching out!
