I have a mature Camellia which I would like to move to hide an ugly shed. At what time of year can I move it without causing it too much stress?
Thank you..

we had a very mature camelia which we moved in April of last year... it took 4 men - an excavator and a lot of work.. but it survived and is now fine....

I would not move during the growing season though.. I think its meant to be best in the dormant season.... and make sure you move it with all root ball in tact
Ask Prince Charles- he's got a mature one as well!!

(Sorry- the temptation was too great)
