We are almost ready to put our camellias to bed for the winter. My grandson has given us some very large polythene bags which will fit over the top. Would these be suitable to protect the camellias?

no...will cause them to go wet mouldy and rot..wrap in fleece..get it from pound shops these days...double wrap with some twine..if you can put them out of wind ! somewhere sheltered !
