Blonde vs Red!

Should I colour my hair again? I'm blonde, but fancy going red! It's quite short, but getting out of shape and can't afford a cut.....

Dunno Jules, I don't know if I'm brave enough for proper faming red! lol I have copper tones naturally, so maybe "irish" red?

I used to put henna through mine years ago , gave it a slight glow of red , that's as daring and adventurous as it got ...lol

Lol got carried away on your wall Max, but yes I like that colour. Problem i find with dying your hair red is that it takes loads of upkeep as it's the one colour that fades quickly.

Yeah, that's the problem! Also, I think I'm gonna have to dye it brown first, so I don't end up orange.....Long process!

I think red sounds fab, love the shade in unruly's link. Go for it max, wish i could colour my hair in more vibrant colours but like julie i too have too much grey, so have to stick with boring brown. :(

Titian Red is a good colour, it looks so shiny and sleak. I have never gone Red as I am so fair skinned.

max are you naturally blonde? Blonde is the one colour I have never managed to get right - granted I only tried it once and it scared the crap out of me doing it. Never quite sure if I'd suit it blonde although I was fair as a child (see photo of me on my facebook page) and they reckon you suit the colouring you had as a child. It ended up quite orangey and I panicked and returned to brown breathing a huge sigh of relief.

dot I am pale with a rosey complexion so I have to be careful with my red. Not that I care though because I love it being red and I think it suits my temperament!

I'm naturally blonde, yes, Venetian blonde I think it's called....Golden blonde with coppery highlights.
