My best man bought me a Moulieux electric knife, a wooden spatula and many other practical items; these are 40 years old and in use daily or weekly ; what is your longest surviving gadget?

1955 is when my wife was born, a good vintage!
A set of Whitworth open-ended spanners inherited in 1970. Never used 'em!
My eldest son too in September.
I would say Mr A!!!! He does nearly everything!!
Not a gadget but two Pyrex serving dishes that were bought as a wedding present. They are white opaque ones and they used to have a flower pattern on the side. The flowers are long since faded. I am using them both tonight.
They are in the oven as I write.

I have lots of other things given as wedding presents but they just sit there, looking beautiful.
We still use my set of stainless steel saucepans given to us nearly 38 years ago as a wedding present.

An old Kenwood mixer dom, used to be my mums in the 70s. I used it today to make a chocolate cake.
A Kenwood Chef food mixer.Bought it for my mothers 60th birthday and inherited when she died 30 years ago at the age of 75.it's still going strong and is used on average 2-3 times a week.
Tilly + Cupid...I still use some pans I had as a wedding present in 1973, and also regularly use the pyrex bowls with flowers on, some are mine, again wedding presents, and some are even older, they were my Mum's. Sadly the lids are long gone.
