Sorry to confuse you folks
Not really HIS birth date yesterday but that of the Royal Marines with whom he served.
A day worth celebration in my opinion though some Taliban may differ in their opinion.

Good photo on front page of Daily Mail. What a wonderfulbody of men. I love the story that about 25 ex R.M. bandsmen turned up with instruments.With no rehearsal they struck up the R.M. anthem without dropping a note. Wish Ihad been there.
Nice footnote: The Mums of the Marines went around after the protest meeting with bin bags saying,"any rubbish" That is a demonstration with civility,panache and style.
