Britain could have easily overstepped it's empire and ended up clashing with the US.

I suppose we would be missing much technology which we rely on every day - war speeds the necessity of technology.

Also, a lot of equal rights stuff comes out of these wars - so maybe a less equal society?

Agree. America's star was rising as the sun was setting on the British Empire. There could have been clashes.

By avoiding the death toll of WW's we would most likely be living in a vastly overpopulated UK.
