Morning,

Release date says the 8th, does this mean I can wander into a shop and purchase it tomorrow afternoon? Or does it mean the devoted will be lining up tomorrow night outside game shops?

TIA.

I pre-ordered it with Amazon for my grandson. He has had it for three days now!

He's over the moon, especially with the headstart on his mates.

Brill, thanks Trigger & Spotty!
when black ops came out Tescos sold it fairly cheap for the first week and then the price went up to full rrp after that. My suggestion would be to buy from one of the big supermarkets in the first week as they'll have large stock levels and it'll probably be on offer.

Of course any dedicated MW fan will fast rope down from an apache bang on midnight and jump the queue in 'Game'.
Spotty Dog - Microsoft have advised that anyone caught playing MW3 ahead of release can expect a ban - just so you are aware.

This will sell like the proverbial but it just looks same old same old to me.

"it just looks same old same old to me."

It probably is. But I am bored of losing to my friends so often.
Ed, I wouldn't bother to be honest! They've hardly updated the game engine since Call Of Duty 4, and there are no ranked dedicated servers for a proper multiplayer experience. Black Ops was decent, but MW3 seems like a step back.

I've just got Battlefield 3 and it's so much better as a multiplayer game than COD on PC. Console experience may differ...
FORGET MODERN WARFARE...ITS ALL ABOUT UNCHARTED LOL!

and assassins creed.
The original devs had a massive falling out with Activision so basically its other companies cashing in on their hard work which is why nothing changes including the engine but then again if it aint broke...
Not for me, I'll wait until it goes cheap. Not impressed with MW2 is my reason.

I'm too busy with BF3 at the mo.
I've just ordered it off Play.com.
