I need recipes for using up tins of chestnut puree, both sweetened and unsweetened fund in the back of a cupboard-no chocolate please.

have you googled?
mrs.m there's loads of recipes, both sweet and savoury if you google 'chestnut puree recipes'. haven't used it myself so can't recommend any.

thanks for answers and have googled all of these, but all have ingredients not liked by my family, so was hoping for something plainer
what about mixing the sweetened stuff with some whipped cream and filling merangue nests with it?
or using it on top of ice cream?
that 3rd link of marvals has some lovely looking recipes, chestnut and apple muffins?
I've just made banana bread, to use up some very over-ripe bananas - otherwise I'd be tempted to have a go at these myself!
