Been strictly dieting for 2 weeks.
Me and OH are allowing a guilt free day every fortnight to give us a treat after our hard work.
But now I am allowed to eat anything I am totally stuck on what to go for. I don't want to waste my "cheat day" .
Pizza, Chinese, Indian, Fish and Chips, Pie and Chips

What would your ultimate cheat meal be~??

I would go for either Chinese or Indian. I tend to order a selection of starters while OH orders a main and we share.

I don't like pizza. Don't eat the batter on fish so it's a waste of money and I don't like pastry :-) but I'm not a fussy eater....

Yeah a selection of starters from a Chinese/Indian could be a good shout.
My eyes will no doubt be bigger than my belly. After 2 weeks of dieting my appetite isn't what it was, but try telling me that when I am ordering later!!
Mine was a Chinese this week. Loved it but regretted it after I'd weighed myself the next morning.
Everyday is a cheat day for me, I don't believe in diets.
I bet you are as thin as a rake too Talbot!

Talbot - I have never been a January dieter, infact the "New year, new me" crowd make me cringe!
But, we both agreed that we had over indulged with almost no exercise for several months.
I'm with Talbot. I don't believe in diets either. It's lifestyle that needs changing and not just until you reach your target weight. It should be forever.
Question Author
True. But in order to get to what we see as a relatively healthy and happy lifestyle to maintain, we needed to shift a bit first.
After I fractured my ankle last summer, I put on a lot of weight, but with the help of SW over the past couple of months, I've lost almost a stone. I've also ordered one of those elliptical workout thingy machines, which should help me shed some more and strengthen my ankle. Just don't give up jd!
But, we both agreed that we had over indulged with almost no exercise for several months.

Address the last bit of that sentence, food is far too good to give up.
Question Author
We enjoy our food, but need to moderate. The inclusion of exercise will help
It's been shown that exercise alone doesn't do much to get rid of weight. You need to do something about your food intake as well.

Answering the original question, I'd go for a curry.
Why not get your Indian or chinesec from the supermarket and heat it up at home? Much more calorie friendly thana takeaway.
We used to walk miles (not in a rambling, stick and backpack way) but visits to NT properties etc. before my accident and although it wasn't much, the exercise helped. I've just bought the Strictly Dvdvd with Ian and Natalie, and that looks good.
Question Author
Today is not about calorie friendly.
I have been on less than 1000 for 2 weeks lol!
I bet you are as thin as a rake too Talbot!
