Portobello Mushrooms

Can anyone give me advice please on the best way to cook Portobello Mushrooms whole? They looked so good in the supermarket but I'm now doubtful. Thanx in advance

They are ideal for stuffing.
I'm just on my way out for an hour so haven't got time to post any links. Just google "stuffed mushrooms" for ideas
