I'm 97% sure that I saw a recipe for almond slice in the Weekend Magazine of the Daily Mail within the last four or five weeks. If anyone has it, can you please answer with the recipe if it's not too much trouble.

No, Rozia, but thanks for trying. The recipe I saw was for almond slices like Mr Kipling's [other brands are available] almond slices.
