Gammon steak with pineapple/egg handcut chips, peas, salad

Fresh cream strawberry trifle

lemony raspberry cheesecake

Caramel Fudge sponge with toffee sauce/ ice cream

i had some of the honey and cream scones in the bee tent, that was nice but v sweet!

My mum didn't put her honey in this year, she lost half her hives to varroa, which is a mite disease that feed on the lavae of bees, she's cultivating a new colony and hopefully next year she'll be back. did you try any sausages - not a patch on ours!! (so i was told!) I think the winners came from Scotland, i'm not 100% sure about that!

i went by the sausage tent but they weren;t cooking any at that time i was mightly disapointed as i love a bit of sausage

so i went and looked at the pigs instead

I love felafel, but try not to eat a lot because of the grease from frying. I once tried baking them and they came out hard and dry, really inedible.

It's great to want people to try something different.......but it would be nice to see some menus that are a wee bit more realistic. By that I mean within the budget and tastes of those who have neither the money or liking for some of the things you suggest.
I would love to see some simpler menus.
