How does everyone know each other ?

I have noticed that a few ABers seem to know each other, not only by posting on here, but in 'real life' as it were. Do you all meet up or what ? Who knows who, and how do you get to know each other further ? Is it Face book and do you give out your names or what ?? Only being nosy ... hope you don't mind.

We made up an Answerbanker's village, and we all live next door to each other. there's a pub, I run the restaurant....

I've met a few AB peeps, but have quite a few on my Facebook friends' list.

I assume many from here chat elsewhere, too.

I have no contact with anyone on this site away from this site. I know one user personally but that was because we knew each other many years ago and we worked out 'who we were' when we were talking on here.

Sometimes I think I would like to talk to one or two peeps away from AB..........

I am not on facebook but I would think if you join facebook then you can invite who you want to be friends with

I don't know anyone on here, I go on facebook occasionally, I wouldn't know how to go on about adding them to my fbook friends.

I've got quite a few people on Facebook and have also met quite a few in real life. Many of the ones I've met are people who don't tend to come on here overly much anymore though.

I don't think I know anyone on here in real life - if they know me, we are using our AB names so we'd be none the wiser! I don't do FB. I think we do get to know quite a bit about each other from things we reveal in postings, we have a laugh and some serious bits, and I've "met" people on AB who I would never otherwise have ever spoken to. I think it's great!

Jack copped on she probably knew me when I mention the name of the pub I use to live in. Jack use to drink there (she's a bit of a fosters head!!!) :-0
