i know someone doing the marathon. My nan told him off for eating what she thought was unhealthily and far too much, untill she realised he runs 40 miles a week and is doing the marathon.

My knees and ankles were a bit stiff this morning. I've just been to the gym to loosen up a bit.

I'm glad it's over. I can finally have a drink, and stop eating pasta, rice, potatoes, bananas, etc.

To even finish a marathon is a victory of sorts.

I was just on the wrong side of 4 hours.

I'll be quicker next year ... I'll do more distance training.

And no ... I didn't stop for a hedge-wee.

There were people dressed in Star Wars costumes, and fairy outfits ... things like that.

I thought ... if they can run it dressed as a stormtrooper, I'm sure I can do it in my running vest.

zzxxee ... yes, I did but, to be honest, I just paid most of the money myself. I'm not very good at asking people to sponsor me. It feels a bit cheesey.
