Heard a lady in Sainsburys asking for Norfolk Black turkey. Now it turns out there is

Norfolk Black
Norfolk Bronze
Norfolk Gold

OMG - what does that all mean - is it the taste or what.

The Black and Bronze are different breeds of turkey. A Norfolk Black has black feathers whilst a Bronze has bronze sheen to its feathers. A Bronze turkey is usually bigger than a Black turkey. You can also get Red and White versions. There isn't a Gold breed - it's a quality standard I think. No idea about taste - I prefer chicken! Hope that helps a bit.
