I love dumplings and perfectly cooked dumplings in a delicious stew are now sadly just a distant memory. I'm no great shakes as a cook but I found a dumpling mix and am prepared to have a go. The point is even if I can make them, can I freeze them as I won't be able to eat all of them.

Thanks Tony. Not sure what cooking tools I'll need but I've got a set of spanners, hammer and trolley jack at the ready
You may need some axle stands as well lew.

Hiya Poodi. Thanks for the info, and I will have a go but I won\'t be holding my breath. I\'m not exactly good in the kitchen - I tried to cook a chicken last week and it came out as tough as old boots; I put it on the heavy soiled, light spin cycle as well. It just wasn\'t my day - took my shirt out and found it singed on the collar and cuffs and just as dirty as it went in; better put it on gas mark 4 next time.
If you've got no room for them in the stew pot do them in the steamer, in 15 mins they are beautiful light & fluffy.

As an alternative add a desert spoonful of caster sugar a handful of sultana's, your own mini spotted dicks, goes down lovely with a splash of custard. Aunty Jem.

That sounds a good idea. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Yep, I think I\'ll try those. Thanks Jemisa.
