Porridge

Hi, My 22 month old daughter loves to have porridge for her breakfast. Other than a mashed up banana mixed into it, has anyone got any ideas how I can sweeten it up for her without using sugar?

Thanks :)

Nice juicy sultanas, maybe cut up into little bits so there is no choking risk.

Puree/stew some fresh fruit and stir it into the porridge as it's heating.

Honey, prune juice, pureed apples or skinned grapes might work. Or possibly not sweetening it at all unless she already has a sweet tooth?

Thank you to all for your replies, I started off by putting a touch of sugar in her porridge and lately I've realised how much sugar she's getting from that alone, so I wanted to put a stop to it before it's too late and I end up with a gummy baby!
