Grocery shopping

I live in the south of ireland but drove up to Newry last month after people commented how much money you could save across the border just wondering which is better /cheaper sainsburys or asda sainsburys had some great offers just wondering if it would be worth my while trying to find an asda?

Asda is cheaper then Sainsburys I find, but then I find for deals Morrisons is much better if you can get to one of them!

Mind you, we havent done a proper food shop in over a year, and just go to the little shop down the road after work each day which works out very expensive!

i know what you mean wiggal i moved recently and the nearest tesco lidl is about 20miles away so i find shopping in the local centra really expensive so travelling up north and doing one huge shop is well worth it for me.

I don't think there's much to choose between Asda + Sainsbury's these days. At one time Sainsbury's was much more expensive, but not now xx

You could go online and checkout the prices and decide from there which one is better for you.

I agree with bathsheba, theres hardly any difference between sainsburys and asda. Also I think sainsburys own brand products are nicer than asda ones even though they are similarly priced.
