Corned Beef

Do you like corned beef I have just struggled to open a tin with the ring pull which method is best to get into the tin the key or the ring! Which corned beef is the best I usually go for Fray Bentos, it is good with mashed potatoes and cabbage and corned beef with mustard makes a good toastie!

I love corned beef but always struggle with the tin - I think the key is best tho. Fray Bentos IS the best in my opinion and I could just eat some CB hash now! Yum x

The tin is a bit annoying but I manage it in the end. Princes do a lower fat version which I have bought in the past. I normally make it into a hash with cubed potatoes, onions and egg. Yum!

having got the scars from a corned beef tin on my knuckle I was delighted to purchase an electric tin opener. Funny enough I am the family technophobe, but the only one who can operate it, easy peasy

Use tin opener on both ends of the can and push the beef through from the narrow end, be careful with the sharp edges though - use a wooden spoon as a pusher.

Fray Bentos is fine -do trim off as much fat as you can before slicing the beef.

Cold, sliced with chips and brown HP sauce! Why do they use those tins - they must have had so many complaints over the years?
