Does anyone else miss Creamola Foam as much as me ? It was discontinued in 1998 due to " the high cost of production and low level of sales " ( so say nestle ) but i'm interested to know if people DO still like this drink and would welcome the return of it.

I loved Cremola Foam. Still do. I cant believe theyve stopped making it. its nonsense. they should definetly think about bringing it back.
i really miss the refreshing taste of a long glass of cremola foam. it's a shame nestle don't feel the need to continue production of cremola foam, or as i like to call it "summer in a glass". GOD BLESS CREMOLA!
I loved the drink and my family always had a tub in the house so there was always something to drink. My brother craved for it when he was dieing from cancer but we couldnt find any anywhere.
Yes, I would still like to drink Creamola Foam. Like many, I was brought up with it. It was a great drink ... really cold water and a tall glass. Raspberry was the best although orange was very acceptable. On a serious note ... it was brilliant for hangovers ... it was the only drink I could stomach when rough with drink and must have had some sort of sodium bi-carbonate ingredient as it fairly settled my dickie tummies. I reckon the original recipe must have been pretty simple, like crystalised sherbet and therefore, in comparison to todays loaded liquid offerings, pretty good for you ... sugar excepted.
My friend and I were talking about 4 months ago and got on the subject of our childhood and our love of creamola foam, so we searched high and low only to find that it had been discontinued. Please please please would the manufacturer bring it back. Since we started talking about it lots of our friends also want it.
Creamola Foam was amazing. It would be good to have it back in circulation again. Ashley
Aggy1998 - thanks for your reply. Unfortunately your email details were removed by 'big brother'! Do you have a website? If so give me a word which I can 'google' to find you and will contact you from there. Sure our CF will be pretty stale by now - but will still be fine for analysis.
Apparently a woman in Stirling found a tin at the back of her cupboard and Nestle now plan to try and work out the recipe - in Scottish papers. Fingers crossed!

Hi guys. Thanks for all your answers. Conclusive proof that there is still an overwhelming interest in Creamola Foam. I have only spoken with three people who told me that they hated it - the majority of people I know love it. The reason why I posed this question was to generate interest in CF again in the hope that it would lead to the revival of what in my opinion was Scotland's third - albeit unofficial - national drink. I have been going round all the popular sites posing similar topics and trying to drum up support for CF , asking people to join in the fight to save it - in between harassing Brands Partnership - the company who own the rights to it ! I am pregnant and craving it sooooooooo badly. Confession time , I am the woman who was pictured with her kids in the Daily Record , campaigning for it's revival ! Sad as it may be , I am desperate for a drink of CF and i'm determined not to let it just crash and burn , as it was such a big part of my childhood and so many things have just disappeared already. I don't want to add CF to the ever increasing list. I'm hopeful that it will be brought back , as recently the Daily Record featured a baker's store who have found an old , original unopened tin , so hopefully when the contents are analysed , it can be reproduced. Yeah ! Weefay , your daughter has my full sympathy , as I know only too well what it feels like to crave something you can't have. Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer though and we can all get our fix and if we do , then I think that we all deserve a wee pat on the back for a job well done in showing big businesses that the little people will not be ignored lol ! Thanks again to everyone who has participated in the fight to save CF from extinction !
They were talking on GMTV this morning about sweets that you used to love that aren't around anymore and it reminded me about the drink creamola foam. I was introduced to it nearly twenty years ago, when i was about six, by my my older cousin and i loved it. I had forgotten all about it then noticed it in a supermarket about five years and went through a phase of drinking it again. Then last year after not having bought it for ages i decided to get it again and went around every supermarket in the town where i live to find none of them stocked it any longer. i was disappointed to hear that wev'e seen the last of it. I have a little boy now and would loved to have let him try it. Well, serves me right for leaving it on the shelf for so long i suppose.
I miss it too - make them bring it back!
I loved it and miss it like so many others. My favourite was the lemon flavour but asides from the taste I also loved the sound it used to make when you stirred a teaspoon to mix up the mixture in a class. I can still hear that sound when I close my eyes and think of it, happy days :-)
I would certainly welcome a return of Cremola Foam, last had when I lived in Scotland as a child some 40 years ago. When I came to England I couldn't find it, and nobody I knew had heard of it. It was mentioned on GMTV this week by Richard, who also said he missed it. Surely it would sell if bought back, as it would be a new product to many people. Come on Nestle, can we have it back in production please. Cati Sat 31/7/2004
who ever has the recipe will you please just make it and start selling it again,i have had cravings for the rasberry one for the past few years i wish it was back on the shelves, i think ill try adding sherbit to water to try and quench that craving, please please please bring it back out
i LOVE CREAMOLA BRING IT BACK PLEASE I,BET MORE FOLKS WOULD BUY IT NOW.
Creamola Foam was the most amazing drink ever and i have been trying to get a hold of some for years but i cant find any?!?!? i would do anything to bring this drink back!!!
MY MUM USED TO GIVE IT 2 US WHEN WE WERE KIDS, WHEN I WAS PREGNANT WITH MY SON WHO IS NOW 2!! I CRAVED FOR IT & BECAUSE I NEVER GOT IT I AM STILL CRAVING FOR IT & AM NOT PREGNANT. SOOO PLEASSSSSEEEE GET IT BACK ON THE MARKET!! I NEED IT!!HELP!!
I remember my mum and dad queueing for ages at the I deal Home Exhibition in 1948(?) for a tin of Creamola Foam Powder. It was rationed out when we got home because I think it was probably quite expensive in those days. The price of 2 shillings rings a bell but I may be wrong. It was gorgeous anyway!!!
Can't believe it's discontinued. Was chatting to a colleague who's just had a baby about how great it was and it will be nice for our kids to have it when they're a bit bigger. We did say we hadn't seen it for ages and lo and behold thought I'd see who stocked it and find this. Very disappointing!! Would def welcome it's return. Found it particularly interesting that one comment said it was great for a hangover. I've not had it since childhood but would love to see if I agree on that one - would appreciate anything that can help there!! Let me know where the petition is and I'll gladly sign up.
i also remember going to my grans on a sunday and having creamola foam, i recall sitting with a glass of water the tin and a spoon and heaping it while stirring & drinking!!!! BRING IT BACK!!!!!
