Creamola Foam - Anyone else miss it ???

Does anyone else miss Creamola Foam as much as me ? It was discontinued in 1998 due to " the high cost of production and low level of sales " ( so say nestle ) but i'm interested to know if people DO still like this drink and would welcome the return of it.

i havent seen it in years and whoever decided to discontinue it is a big fat fool. i would do almost anything it started production.

i love creamola foam, and all the people i have spoken to about it love it too, they must bring it back, if nestle do not want to make it any more then they should sell the rights to another company, there is a whole generation growing up without it and this is clearly wrong, BRING BACK CREAMOLA FOAM !!!!!!!

Used to love it as a kid and then I rediscovered it as an adult around the same time as discovering beer. The ineviatable happened after a night out and beermola was invented, what a mess it made. Lesson learned, dont add creamola mix to a full pint.

Yes i really miss it was my favourite drink i'm 13 and still remember it even though i was 8 at the time my favourite flavour was the raspberry one one it was bright rose pink and tasted delicious the last time i saw it was when i was at school it was 2003 and a boy was drinking it from a volvic water bottle the boy lived in ochiltree in ayrshire

Yes i do miss Creamola Foam. My brother and i loved it as children, My mum has tried everywhere to buy it but to no avail. Hope that they bring it back.

I have been trying to get creamola for the past 7 or 8 years ,And when I had seen the advertisement on the Daily Record I thought I should have a say as that was my best childhood memories as i adored that drink as you felt older by adding it to a glass and mixing it yourself with water, and also is very delicious

I miss Creamola Foam so much. I am over 50 and enjoyed Creamola Foam as a child. We used to add extra Bi-carbonate of Soda to it to make it fizz more. My sons all men now have enjoyed Creamola Foam during their younger years and still fondly remember the drink. It would be wonderful to have it back on the Supermarket shelves. Please, please, surely their is somebody out there who can produce this again. I live in Aberdeen. Missing CF. Barney 14/7/04

I miss creamola so much. We used to mix it with vodka on a night out, it was brilliant. It was just like any of the alcopops you get today but tasted much better!! Bring it back please!!

Raspberry Creamola foam was the best thing ever! (I wasn't keen on the orange or lemon). I used to absolutely love it and think its such a shame that it was taken off the market. - Saw the Daily Record today....does anyone know where the online petition is??

My dad sold CF in his chemist shop in Montrose between the 50s and 80s. I used to particularly enjoy after removing the lid, cracking open the taut paper membrane with a teaspoon before spooning out the sherbet flavoured powder into a glass of cool, refreshing water. Creamola Foam ranks alongside Vimto and the Co-op's ginger essence as the essential nostalgic drinks of my youth in the days before I discovered real ales. Lets do what we can to get it back in production and on the shelves of the country's supermarkets. The baby boomers are foaming at the mouth to get their taste buds round Creamola Foam.

Hi I setup a small food manufacturing company a couple of years ago, we set out to manufacture "niche" products that the big manufacturers are no longer interested in for reasons of cost or volume. I have seen a lot of interest in creamola foam from scottish households but not from big manufacturers, if anyone out there has any product i could take a look at we should be able to make some sample product with a view to producing in commercial quantities. It would have to be called something else for copyright reasons, but hey, its for drinking and eating not reading ! If anyone can help with some product for me to take a look at, i promise i wont keep it all to myself and will send them back the biggest tub of flavoured foam they have ever clapped eyes on !

Yes. I really miss Creamola Foam. All my family would like to see it back and Im sure there are a lot of others in the same boat. Please bring it back and maybe bring out some new flavours.

Aggy1998 - how do I know that you are not just a big CF stealer? You think i would hand over the last of this delightful powder lightly?! We have some orange and raspberry CF left and would love it to come back, but need to beware of ploys to rob us of our remaining stock!!! P.S anyone know where to sign the petition? For years my boyfriend has been desperately seeking Creamola Foam in any shape or form. He particularly misses it when he's feeling poorly - through self-infliction or otherwise - as he says it's an ideal pick-me-up. I have fond memories of the stuff as well both as a drink and a sherbet. Where's the petition at? We'll both sign it!

I absolutely adore creamola foam. It was the best hangover cure i have ever had and just for a refreshing drink! It beat Coca Cola hands down! BRING IT BACK.......please!
