Yes apparently. it's only poultry which has to be defrosted. In fact, there'll be more bacteria getting onto the mince while it's defrosting so better to cook from frozen.

Couldn't agree more with the above. Make all my spags from frozen mince, and no problems so far.

Danny - I have cooked all kinds of meat, fish and poultry from frozen - without thawing - many times - and no problems.
More of a question than an answer, but are we talking frozen raw mince that was once fresh? Or that horrible stuff that you buy frozen and never tastes the same.
