Purchasing a large quantity of Lager

Good afternoon, I have been set the task of purchasing around 70 crates of lager, 24 in a pack, something like Kronenbourg 1664 or similar as tag on gifts for some of our clients at Christmas. Any ideas of where to start looking for this quantity? We have contacted a well known brewery and they are not that cheap and I am having nightmares at the thought of going to a supermarket ! Just the mental picture of me there is giving me a cold sweat! any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wonkmaster - I would look in the phone book for beer distributors - they will probably have more than one brand for you to choose from and may be cheaper.

Have you added 17.5% vat on the Bookers prices - cheap if you can get in, its a trade warehouse.

Sainbury, Tesco, etc will deliver to you - you don't have to visit a supermarket/

i work for booker.....phone up your local branch and speak to the manager.......they will do you a price and deliver.....(or shud anyway)

....and ask about getting a card to use for the future
