What about a lovely big stir fry with lots of fresh ingredients. Broccoli, carrots, peas, peppers, mushrooms, beansprouts, a little cooked rice or noodles, some chicken or prawns, or handful of nuts. Add a little soy or oyster sauce and serve on a bed of spinach leaves. Delicious and so healthy. Yum. xx
grilled chicken salad,no dressing, with tons of stuff in it!! A side of cottage cheese with peaches. mmmmm Thats what I had for dinner last night ;) It leaves you feeling energized, and does NOT leave you feeling bloated and FULL...like the peice of pizza I just ate for lunch. Now I feel Yukky!!

I would have some natural yogurt mixed with berries and nuts and a bit of honey.

Thank you all, the yoghurt and berries sounds best for me as it was a between meals snack I was looking for, but your meal suggestions sound lovely.
Just something NOURISHING that your body will thank you for!

If you swim correctly ie. with a correct stroke ( and 80% of people haven't got a good stroke) you should not put on weight. I swim 5 or 6 times per week and my weight does not alter. We use a fair amount calories when swimming so yes you are likely to feel hungry afterwards. But swimming is considered to be the best exercise. It is good for the heart, circulation and lungs ------- if done correctly. I know several Channel swimmers and they do tend to be 'rounded' but not usually fat. But they are used to swimming in relatively cold water, indeed sometimes when there is ice on the lake, pond or reservoir.

Keep it up, preferably at least twice a weekl!
