working today, in early as in an hour and then later this afternoon/evening. Until then cricket and Wimbledon to occupy the mind and a few other things too.
nothing really to tell other than standing in for someone this morning, then a spot of shopping for gin on offer over here - and also soups for lunch-times. should make my own but too lazy to do that.
off shopping for her wrinklies and crinklies as her car was off the road yesterday. I have to be moving as well now - the clock ticks down. Have a great evening down under, and bye to all, and have a good one.
Morning all,
Bit more sorting out, and throwing away, but first a trip to Birmingham markets for some upholstery fabric. Have taken my grandfather's high back chair from my mum's place and going to 're do it. It's perfect for my bad days when the sofa isn't an option. Want something really outrageous to turn it into a bit of a statement piece.
Also loads of 1970s and 1980s 45s to list for sale. Complete set of The Sweet, David Essex, and T rex, anyone
My sister was the David Essex fan, I preferred Colin Blunstone, and Neil Diamond. Even when I was young I tended to save up and buy albums rather than singles
Think the last time I saw DE on tv was a repeat of Heartbeat, how apt and better looking than Claude Jeremiah Greengrass. Weather seems suited to a load of washing that will dry on the line today so that will do to start the chores with. Mind you don't overdo it. Bet you get something colourful for the chair. Take care.
It's going to be a scorcher today so I'll be in the garden cleaning my rifle as I threw a load of lead down the range yesterday. When the wife comes back from Spanish conversation we'll go down the pub and do some crosswords.
