No, I wouldn't. That is very lazy. :-)
No - and the same with jars of sliced lemon.
...nor bags of grated cheese.
all very lazy.
I saw frozen chopped onion the other day wondered how lazy someone would have to be to buy that!
No, as god knows how long they’d been boiled already, and it’s just too lazy anyway.
Well I must be very lazy as I have bought frozen chopped onions and the boiled eggs
I buy frozen chopped onions. They are a real time saver.

I was very surprised that something like this was allowed on the market, mainly from the freshness factor, and also the waste, if not sold.

I guess nothing like this appears in U K supermarkets.

I have bought the pre boiled eggs from Tesco lunch section
I've used frozen chopped onions.
And lemons in a jar are preserved lemons...though I've meant to try making my own.
I'd not buy peeled eggs...don't the shells help boiled eggs last longer?...and protect the eggs from nasties?
No, I’ve never had the need to.
I would (and do occasionally) buy frozen chopped onions, peppers and mashed potato.
I would also buy ready grated cheese if I was pushed for time and needed a lot of it, I hate grating cheese.
Even saint Delia uses conveniently ready prepared things. I don’t see it as lazy, I see it as time saving and less standing in the kitchen when I could be doing something else.
No need to buy it if you don’t want to.
I have never had a first date without knowing what she looked like.
No.

I do have frozen leeks though and mash. I only use frozen mash for soups to thicken them.
I too must be very lazy, as I buy onions ready chopped and grated cheese, but I can live with it and will continue to buy them.
Frozen peppers are good.
I have frozen chopped onions in freezer yes for emergencies they can be handy.
Good Grief all these comments on being 'lazy! What about people with mobility issues in their hands? It can be very difficult to shell eggs, grate cheese and chop vegetables when you have, say, severe arthritus or even an apurtation of one limb!

I would not buy shelled eggs as we have hens, apart from that I do buy grated cheese ,as well as normal cheese, frozen chopped onions (so convenient), frozen chopped mixed peppers (no waste if you only need half a cup), and many other frozen ready prepared veg, along with fresh when in season. Frozen or packet mash in the summer, as the new potatoes do not mash well.

This 'Lazy' cook makes everything from scratch but certainly would not get sniffy about ready meals either.
Tesco do a meal deal egg and it gives me the heeby jheebies as you say a boiled and peeled egg in a little pot it really does make me feel odd. I love eggs but unless in a sandwich, they need to be fresh. I must say even in the sandwich they need to be fresh eggs but what I mean is not freshly cooked kind of thing. I do love a cold hard boiled egg and bacon sandwich.

Im not sure how someone could buy multiple hard boiled and peeled eggs and keep them in their fridge do just buy some raw ones and pop them in a pan yourself.
Well said Polly.
