Friends, family, work collegues etc all say that Xmas TV has been awful.
I do sometimes wonder if I am missing anything worthwhile by not having a TV.

I do miss a good film every now and then or a good documentary?
I haven’t watched much over Christmas. Pretty much just Gavin and Stacey and a few quiz shows. I don’t think you’re missing much.
Gavin and Stacey was brilliant. It's a shame you missed that.
Been pretty dire. I've hardly watched anything!
I found the documentary about Andy Murray’s hip surgery interesting. That was on before Christmas.
Nope, nowt at all Nailit , I watched Billy Elliott for the first time, must say tho, thoroughly enjoyed it too
You could still watch the occasional thing on your computer or tablet.
Nails, l cannot think of any specific program that you have missed, except for David Attenborough’s six worlds, an excellent documentary about our planets wildlife.
I enjoyed Michael Morpurgo's 'Mimi and the Mountain Dragon.'

Lovely little animated film.
at present - a an amateur history of Lewes ( where they burn an effigy of the Pope and not Guido Fawkes) which is quite good

but not worth cutting your own throat for
A million channels and it is all shi ite. Thank gawd for catch up and the Repair Shop. Hope you are well Nails.(&Tills) Bet that tired old town looks even worse with this winter weather embracing it. Glad I left. (It is a Stoke thing BTW)
I never have any trouble finding something to watch, my interests are broad though.

Your friends are right, with the odd exception it was generally below par.
It depends what you like - I watched loads of favourite films - Seabiscuit, The Big Country, The Railway Children, Pride and Prejudice, Enchanted plus Xmas Uni Challenge most nights and re-runs of This Farming Life which I love. There was always something good on.
you tube is good
which you cd watch

phenomenal choice considering ass a child we were ltd to the town library
Oh yes of course Billy Elliott, brilliant film
//ass a child we were ltd to the town library//

Now that was child abuse considering your syntax and spelling disorders. :))
Billy Elliot, excellent film, worth a repeat viewing. The lion king, loved it . Gavin and Stacey, excellent if you were a fan of the series. Recently watched something on Netflix, can’t recall what it was :-)
