Is there anyone else here that DOESN'T own a record, album, C.D, cassette or any other form of a hard copy of a record?
I have none of the above. Anytime I wish to listen to music I simply go to You-Tube.
I understand that there are collectors out there but for the average man in the street that has broadband, why collect when its all available online to listen to?

I used to have cassettes and vinyl, because I am really old. How I have CDs, because that is easy in the car. But most music i listen to now is on Alexa, Sky or Kindle. I have decided to get a piano again...
I own CD's but I don't buy more unless its the only way to get something I want. Likewise I have got a few vinyl LP's because that was the only way of getting hold of something. I either listen to music through Alexa or from my laptop, all my uploads plus Apple purchases live in icloud.
I have got a young godason who is very into music and he MUST have hard copies of what he buys

i have a cd player in the car, and therefore i need to occasionally buy a cd
I have a massive CD collection. They are all in the loft!
Surely you used to have them - did you chuck them all away? I reckon you are unique if you don't own one tucked away somewhere.
I've still got my old vinyls and cassettes even though I’ve got nothing to play them on. Can’t bear to get rid of them.

If it is (or even if it isn't..lol) I gave my cd collection to a charity shop when I got back on broadband. Realised that I could have the song AND the vid to go with it any time I wanted...
Between us we've got hundreds of cds. Most of them we've never unpacked because i mainly stream music now either onto the tv or thru the tablet and blu tooth speakers.
It was to you yes and I guessed you must have done something with them, We must 100s of CDs in the house but never ever play them - I do however play CDs in the car all the time by choice.
I dont listen to music anymore, I certainly dont own any.

I occaisionally listen to the radio, but otherwise I have a quiet life.
Had to sell all my L.P.'s when times were hard and had bills to pay.

I have CDs and vinyl, but iplayer is my usual source.
I have a large CD collection, I duplicated virtually all my vinyl so I sold it for reasons of strorage, and I still get a load of CD's through the post most days.

I love new music - the present Mrs Hughes less so.
