No but I realise I'm a hypocrite! I just love this programme, loved the first series too.
For those of us that don't watch it can you explain.
A cow died tonight leaving behind a young calf. Then watching the reactions of the calfs and mothers after they'd been separated was sad. They were crying.
Oh that again! No grew up in the country and knows where my meat come from
It often seems that the main purpose of farm animals is to try and die.

It has certainly turned me away from becoming a farmer, what a difficult life for many.

I don't mean the big time rich ones.
We live near a farm and always know when the calves are taken away from the mothers, the cows cry for their babies all night for a couple of nights, it's horrible.
Shocking isn't it, they go through the pain of birth and then take them away .. !
