I agree 100% with, but in Blaby District in Leicester, you can get fined £100, for not carrying a poo bag, and have wardens stopping dog walkers to check.
Great idea. This has been happening in at least some parts of Spain and the Canary Isles for several years. Many dog walkers have empty bags tied to the dog leads to show they've got them.
Fines for not picking up... definitely!
But checking to see if you're carrying pooh bags is a bit ott. You could have just used the last one, given it to someone who needed one, run out without realising you weren't carrying any. I've done all the above...though I usually carry about 6 or so.
Brilliant idea! When you know the rule which could result in the fine, saying you don't have a poo bag is a bit like saying your dog doesn't poo...... :-)
was getting fed up watching young lad letting his dogs poo on the grass across the road from us and him not picking up the poo.
Opened front door one day, asked him if he wanted any bags to pick the poo up?
'I always pick the poo up' he says.
As I had my mobile in my hand, I told him no, he hasn't and I've got the proof on my phone.
