Enter... vodka jelly ...into Google.. Plenty of recipes there

Neat Vodka, it's the only way to go!!

You're right though, they don't set properly but it works 'cos you can knock them back without a spoon (they slide down your throat).  Put them in the freezer in shot glasses, but follow the Jelly packet instructions for the amount of liquid you should add. Be prepared to get very merry!

Very happy halloween!!

..thanks courtney cox!.. might give that one a go as I dont want a "firm" jelly...I did google it earlier but there seems to be a lot of contradiction out there re. ratios of water to vodka..and I don't want to end up with runny slush .. thought I'd try on here for first hand knowlage from people who have a tried and tested recipe, so many thanks...
I went to a party once where someone had made vodka jelly in those ice cube bags!  It was less messy than a bowl of jelly as everyone got a 'cube' where they just sucked it out the bag!  Much fun.
Went to a hen party and they were set in condoms.

I made it the other week for a party - put the jelly in a jug and add half a pint of boiling water.  Instead of adding another half pint of cold water, add vodka, and stick it in the freezer overnight!

The best flavour is either lime or orange, as vodka and raspberry dont go together as well!

I like to make vodka jellies in those little paper ketchup pots you see near the sauce dispensers in McDonalds, I just pile a load into my pockets when I visit, makes an ideal serving size

I agree with chazza, half hot water and half vodka, I always layer my vodka jellies, lime on the bottom with cola on top!
