Damson gin is similar to sloe but the flavour is less intense. Use more fruit than in the sloe recipe I suggested previously to bump the flavour up a bit - maybe a pound and a half to a bottle of gin and a half to one pound of sugar.
It's nice, but not as nice imo.
Damson jam is also good.
Follow a recipe for sloe gin.
Don't forget whisky, blackberry whisky is very good.
Blackberry whiskey, Chipchopper. Haven't heard of that before, wouldn't mind giving it a try.

I have 1.2K of them. I quite like the look of this recipe http://www.cygnetkitchen.co.uk/2014/09/14/wild-damson-jelly/

Damn - it didn`t set. I did everything right (as far as I know) crinkle test on the saucer etc. I might boil it up again tomorrow with some pectin or lemon juice if I can be bothered
