Your phone is capable of a great deal more than you are using it for. Go onto Play Store from ypur phone and have a look at free step counters. Download and install one, then have a wander round the house. Have a look at the app and you will see how many steps you have done. It's not a FitBit but it wont cost you anything and you already have the hardware. Before you know it you will be identifying starts in the sky and turning your central heating on while you are on the bus .. there's an app for everything, well almost.

No .. it's as easy as clicking which app you want and installing it. You will need an a/c if you want to purchase an app. Some you pay for and others are free. There are so many that you will never be able to look at all of them .. honest.
I have this one on my phone, it works a treat. I can see how many steps I have taken in the past 3 hours (over 10,000) and look at last week and last month etc. It is quite interesting as most people wouldn't have a clue, but it is a way of checking your activity.
It was free and is worth a try .. https:/ /play.g oogle.c om/stor e/apps/ details ?id=com .tayu.t au.pedo meter

Tilly, look at your phone, you'll see tiles on it, they're apps, if you swipe over a tile that has the google sign on it, usually google play store, open it, it will open a whole new window to you, find fitbit (all one word on play store) and install it, ya don't need google email for it as far as I know. a lot of apps are free, look for the free one and download it and let it install on your phone
