How many of you automatically load your dining table with various condiments by rote, irrespective of the meal.

Or are you a tad more circumspect and present a selection appropriate to the meal?

Perhaps, harshest of all, for some do you never put condiments/seasoning on the table?

Tis interesting.......

Generally speaking nothing gets put on our dinner table. Salads are a bit different as Mr Cake abhors salad dressings, but adds blue cheese sauce to anything salad looking irrespective of how it will suit the overall meal. He mostly favours Balsamic vinegar and will occasionally be encouraged to indulge in a drizzle of EVOO........kicking and screaming mostly.

Other than black pepper which is alway on hand, we just get things out of the fridge or the cupboard as we fancy them. OH likes mustard sometimes, I like it with cheese. I love mint sauce with potatoes, or horseradish with roast dinner. We help ourselves as and when.

We always have salt and pepper on the table, what goes with it depends on what we're having for dinner. A roast would have mint sauce, fry up would have tom ketchup and HP, salads would have the whole cupboard.
I don't put anything on the table. Everyone takes what they want from the kitchen and puts it on the table.

Kitchen table for everyday has all labels as needed
I find tomato sauce the most sweetest thing ie sugarest of anything I would attempt to eat. Would not touch the stuff so would not have it in my house. It is completely full of sugar. Yuch

Eccles said condiments, not cutlery, ummmm
And Eccles asked about cutlery at 18:16.
Plenty sugar in HP sauce too, but you don't use much.
Why include cutlery if unrequired? Mcd supply all ;)
