Sunday. We had some rain during the night, but not the promised biblical deluge. But there is the rest of the day to go yet.

Tiggy was out for his supper and went straight back to bed, sensible lad!

Herself went out and was back in again a bit sharpish too. Curled up fast asleep now. Typical!

Awesome day here, thunderstorms, 1 1/2 inch of rain (nearly our yearly allowance) ;-)

Great day yesters, son's Rugby League team played a very physical game and won the right to host the grand final. Yaaa (lots of times over)..

Poor son ;-/...very battered and bruised today, but grinning like a Cheshire Cat.

Sounds like drought on the way if you've used up your annual allowance of rain mate. :o}

I can just imagine your son's pleasure. Hosting the grand final will bring in a loot of the folding stuff.

It's nearly always dry here Boaty, including my sense of humour.

It will bring folding stuff to the town and club, but not the players, they do it for the love of the game. Except the Captain/coach, he is the only paid player.

The club are not allowed to pay players but are very good to the ones they value. Twice a week after training sessions his car is full of fuel, he makes sure it is empty beforehand ;-),,,err,,,make that my car!!!!

That sounds like a good way round the 'no pay' rule to me.

Haven't had much dry here this year. The sky is almost clear here now, but 'yer wee man' on the idiot box tells us it ain't gonna last long. sigh

Love the rain when we get it, even if I do sound like I moan.
Got a few more days of rain coming apparently.

Fingers crossed for a grand final win in a fortnight, if so, it will be his second in a row. They are far and few between. Last year the team he played for won for the first time in 43 years. The team he is with this year haven't won for 25 years.

We're used to lousy weather here oz. Don't take a lot of notice of it. It's so unpredictable it's always a good conversation opener. :o}

It seems your lad is a good luck charm. I hope they do it. :o}

'Yer wee man' has just said rain at midday. So I'll have to get the shoplifting done by then. I'll watch the GP then.
