friends of mine and coming to lunch tomorrow en route to Channel Tunnel to return to France, is the tunnel still open ? or is all at a standstill due to strike at Calais ?

Yes it is open..i have just this minute got on it. A bit of a faff for car drivers.... I would hate to be a lorry driver it looks like a long night for them.

Cars were diverted off the m20 and then back on it a few junctions Later.lorries were stacked on the m20 if they intended using the ferry. I've been waiting without moving for far longer than usual

Lots of people in hotels this side because the traffic is far worse than the English side.
