Frozen sprouts? Nooooo, they're vile. Have to have fresh ones, and don't forget to cut the cross in the bottom when you peel them.
That's why I went for steak Baldric, crazy to get a joint or a bird for one.

I'll have rib-eye I think.
no chris. I don't buy that excuse :) sorry' I love snow' for interrupting your thread,
Eddie:
Last year I had just one cat, so I managed to keep some of the duck for myself. Now that I'm outnumbered 5 to 1, things are a little harder to manage around here!
Sprouts.... roast em with Pancetta the drizzle with a very good Balsamic vinegar or reduced cheapo balsamic .... hi Psyybs xxx
>>>don't forget to cut the cross in the bottom

The TV chefs all say that's completely pointless.
The chefs are right.
I thought it had some religious significance ☺
Hi Slappy, how did I forget the Balsamic, like the pancetta but must have the chopped nuts
Beans on toast.
I know, it's just what I was brought up to do.
And runny honey if no balsamic, Tonyav will have his cooking now

Should have added it will be Turkey with all the Trimmings for New Year!
I would decide on the drink first and then work on a menu from that.
No religious significance, just that the stem would still be hard when they were boiled otherwise.
King prawn vindaloo with all the trimmings after a couple of pints in my local and sitting by a roaring log fire on my own...OH away with her family. Bliss! (I mean the beer, curry and fire, not the absence of my wife!)
I'm not a turkey fan, so it'll probably be roast beef. I do a nice homemade horseradish sauce if I do say so myself.
Packed lunch and flask of coffee at Dungeness with our Labradors.
We WERE having turkey until I saw the prices. Now I think we are having pork or gammon.
Probably at MILs so loads of over cooked stuff.
