Type "curry sauce" into Google there's a couple of good recipes there
I think you need to look for chinese curry sauce, rather than a traditional indian one. There are a couple of catering brands available in Cash and Carry's that are what they use in chippy's
Chinese curry paste [hope you have a Chinese supermarket in a town near you] is what they use.

I use "Goldfish Brand" made by KEEJAYS ltd, Hadleigh, IP7 6RD
Well done everyone. Isn't AB great?! lol. I love that curry sauce stuff on chips, and fortunately I have an oriental supermarket right by me :D
Go to Morrison's and get Farmfoods and get Mayflower Chinese Curry Sauce. It comes in frozen form or in a dry powder mix. The mix is better value and is all I can get my kids to eat, they love it with some diced onions and poured on their chips!
