Had these chips in the freezer for a little while and dread cooking them again.
They seem so bland and some slightly raw after cooking in oven.
Where am I going wrong, as i think I'm about to chuck them in the bin.

I want them crispy and tasty and not burnt. Any tips anyone? thanks

For the best texture and flavour of oven chips, I've found that deep frying half-a-dozen at a time in half an inch of oil in a pan gives the best results!
On the rare occasions I have them I cook them at a higher temp than stated on the pack....and for longer.

I have cooked them for a bit longer too but not on the hottest setting as the edges get a bit burnt. I threw my deep fryer out yrs ago when i had fainting fits and was scared I may faint and leave the cooker unattended, and may cause a fire, haha. I think I'll throw some garlicky, herby stuff to taste them up a bit while I'm at it. Thanks for replies x
