Over the years many groups of people have been pilloried, abused and shunned, such as the Irish, blacks, gays, smokers.
Now it is the fatties turn. I'm on the larger side myself.

Who next to be the scapegoat of the country? My guess is benefit claimants.

Scots, if they look like seceding.
i don;t think people who are overweight are scapegoats, a fair percentage don't need to be obese, many just choose a life that doesn't seem particularly healthy, if they eat junk food much of the time, takeaways and sugary drinks then its not good, and it's not really cheaper in the long run, better to make a meal that has some healthy ingredients, balance is what it's all about, at least that is what most doctors, dieticians say,
some people do have physical, mental health issues that make it difficult to be slim or at least not obese, but those i do see around me, and they are not just the British, we get lots of visitors in the capital from around the world, are often on the large size.
Fat Scottish benefit claimants?
When I was little, fat people were seen as Jolly and healthy. And skinnies as mean and/or ill.

People with Comb-overs!
or two left feet..
I am a fat non-working Scot, single female who lives with cats - I think that I tick lots of boxes somewhere. I don't get benefits but have a civil service pension.
Just seen Baldric's post - yes I agree comb-overs and really dodgy wigs.
Don't forget the gingers........
The lefties - whoever they are ?
I blame the parents ...
leave my dad alone !!!

blame the gingers - but ginger cats all look really cute and cuddly

Jeff Chandler!
Just wait a minute while I have a swoon. My sister came to visit today and we have been talking about him all afternoon
I think benefit claimants already get it in the neck. I am forever chastised for being thin. I have always been thin. I accept I don't eat a lot but I do try to eat healthy. I was always told high fibre low fat.
who's jeff chandler :)
People with 'too' many children seem to get it in the neck a bit - being tarred as scrounging low-lives.
ugly beauticians,
dentists with false teeth
