Cookworks Hand Blender

Hi Abers.
Bought a hand blender today in Argos today.
i have a big one have never seem to use it.

What sort of things do you use your for?

I'm about to makehome made soup any day now! x

I must be idle, I got rid of mine, we never use it.

I have a Bamix. I use it for everything...making mayonnaise, crushing biscuits and blending soup.I love it.

^^^Ditto everything VnC just said. Sauces, salsas, pesto it's a fab thing to have in your kitchen, especially if it comes with a mini-processor attachment.

I have one that I used to use for making soup but I must admit, I tend to use the blender for that now. The hand blender came with attachments and if you have those (the little chopper thing) that is very useful for chopping herbs.

I've bought it after watching my brother-in-law make soup while out in Spain.
He boiled everything to make cauliflower soup (yummy) in a big caserole dish.
Then blended it all and hey presto --delicious. Will try it tomorrow maybe .

My hand blender didnt come with attachments, but will ask in Argos if they have any added attachments to add to my one. Thanks Abers x
