Woah, no need to shout

I would boil it first then roast but you don't have to do that. It does remove a lot of salt though
What you put on it is up to you, I generally go for honey
Do you have a slow cooker? Gammon in that is gorgeous!
Are you doing it today?

YES HOPE TO HAVE A MEAL AROUND 4.30PM JUST WISH HIM IN DOORS COULD COOK BEEN DOING IT FOR NEARLY 59 YEARS THINKING OF GOING ON STRIKE !!
They are usually very salty so if you do not boil it first at least soak it for a few hours to get some of the salt out.
I always boil/simmer first...it's better to be safe than sorry-I hate salty gammon.

And boikers-try to turn your 'Caps Lock' key off....all caps is considered 'shouting'.

;-)
boikers, do turn off your Caps Lock - it looks as if you're shouting...
I usually soak mine for the night before I want it, changing the water a couple of times, then I roast it on a low heat or quite a few hours, it goes nice and shreddy.
