So what are you having for your din dins today then?

I won't eat 'til tonight so I will literally be having dinner and not lunch. I'll probaby just have some Thai/Indian/Chinese nibbles (this party foot seems to be on offer everywhere you go) and I will enjoy a glass or two of Pepperwood Viognier from California.

Buen provecho y disfrutas este domingo! :-)

Hello NM x
sorry, we are having a tossed salad with fresh ham and a trifle for afters
I don't have a drinking problem. I drink. I get drunk. I fall down. No problem.

Hi NoMercy !

Afternoon to you both. Tossed salad is lovely.

I've just decided I'm going to have some goats' cheese drizzed in honey and sprinkled with crushed nuts, flashed under the grill, as part of my buffet this evening.

Red, I DO have a drink problem. Two hands and only one mouth!
Hi Nom, I am having a rather botched beef wellington.
It has pastry patches covering holes where the pastry has torn!!!!!
The shape is not quite square or oblong and has one corner.
It looks like a 6 year old has made it.

I wouldn't worry about appearances, funny - at least it will look homemade. You could always cut pastry "leaves" and place all over the outer case. I usually do that anyway. Did you use mushroom paté?
I used a chicken liver pate!
Fingers crossed, I gotta serve up soon!

How do they manage to do it on CDWM??
Question Author
Well I bet it will go down a storm with your fellow diners. Enjoy!

Today I am having a warm rustic pain filled with green salad, delish cured smoked bacon, with crumbled stilton on top. Easy on the washing up and very filling. Might just swill it down with a little something too!

That sounds nice Shaney. Brisket is a favourite in my family.

TTFN you are making me salivate. Crispy bacon and stilton are two of my favourite things.

That sounds like a very posh ploughmans, Ratter. I used to love my cheese and meats back when I lived in Spain.

Euphemia - guinea fowl sound delish. I must cook that myself one of these days.
Sorry about that NoM, it is one of Big Sis's favourite snacks. Euphemia - I have never tried guinea fowl - do they cost much? ☺
Ratter - get out of that hammock and fix the oven x
