Reasons To Be Cheerful

It's been a naff week.

Had to have the car window fixed (mucho money)
Then the washing machine died (more mucho money)
Then I blew the fuses in the house and nearly electrocuted the fish (probably not a good idea dropping the extension cable from the lawnmower in the pond)
My new boots are too high and I cant walk in them.

BUT

it's Friday
the sun is shining
I can see goldfinches from my window
the bluetits are nesting in the nesting box
ASBO hasnt brought a live mouse/rat/mole in for two whole days
I have a bottle of Pinot chilling in the fridge for later

What are your reasons to be cheerful?

I am not cheerful but I am not depressed or anxious, so it could be a good day.

ate my first hot cross bun of the year, with loads of butter, the sun is most definitely shining, coffee ready to drink.. i can hear the birds cheeping away outside.

I have managed to go swimming twice this week
I have only had 2 dumping episodes this week
Hound 2 has not rolled in fox poo this week yet
I have all weekend with my darling hubby

Just been watching two Buzzards circling in the sky, two grandchildren coming to visit one staying for a week, nanny overjoyed granddad not quite so

It's Friday
I'm on annual leave
The Sun is shining
We're off out shortly with Phoebe Deeby Doo to the farmshop, the hills and then a gorgeous country pub.
I've got one heck of a social calendar this year.

It's hot and sunny.
I work from home so am sat in garden with iPad :)
I've already prepped dinner so no faffing later
I have wine chilling in fridge
Eldest son whom have been trying to strengthen relationship has txt me to ask if he can come to stay nxt weekend(he hasn't been here for about 7 years). That has made me the happiest

Further reasons to be cheerful:

We're going to see Rob Beckett tomorrow night after a Brazilian Meal.
We've just had steak with a lush salad and glass of bubbles for lunch.
I'll be watching Dr Doolittle with Rex Harrison later.
I'm off to Dublin 2 weeks today.
We're off to Reykjavik, Boston and Martha's Vineyard 5 weeks thereafter.
OH is swapping his car for something nice and said I can drive it whenever I like.

Had a nice lunch with friend today.
Met my little dog Jill's friend Nancy in the park this morning and they had a mad run around for ages.
Sun shining.
Saw swans nesting on the river.
Tickets came today for 'Ghost'.

I have bought too many new plants for the garden.....
Red Kites are circling overhead.....

Best of all....my brother is taking part in the Charity Moon Walk in London....and I am making his bra!!!
Oh bliss...time to get my own back for all the things little brothers do to annoy!.... :-)

I usually book last minute holidays so don't really have time to get excited but I booked this one last year.
