Sunday. Going home in a few hours. It's been a lovely holiday.

Don't know what it's like outside, I haven't opened the curtains yet.

We went to Truro yesterday, met up with DT again, in his usual morning watering hole. Then had a look round the cathedral and some shops, as you do.

Curtains opened. It's still dark!

Have a happy day everyone.

Hey, Boatie x

Morning JJ. xxx It's 5.20 AM here, I've been up a while. As to how I do it, I have no idea...or why.

Having any luck today? :o}
G'day Boaty, how's things?

Fancy seeing you here JJ.

How's the Casino crawl going, for richer or poorer, for better or worse?

Afternoon oz. All well here mate ta. You OK?
Yeah, all good. Been making lots of sawdust, the left over bits are starting to look like a table top. Octagonal and there'll be a piece of laminated tinted glass inset one day in the not too far future.
Question Author
That sounds like it's going to look good mate! Sweep up the sawdust, good for lighting fires! :o}
Good for keeping snails away from plants too.
They wont slither across it, dries 'em up.
Good for making up wood filler, just add glue to make a putty.
Good for oil spills and I'm a messy wouldbe mechanic ;-)
Question Author
Indeed all good uses for sawdust. just the job to fix a wonky joint. Tiggy takes care of the slugs and snails. :o}
Not bad., 1ozzy.

Done Caesars Palace. Huge, and brash, but with a shop called Brighton. Now at the Venetian. Big gaming area. Played Baccarat a few mins ago. Actually came out ahead.
Morning Waterman, Jayne, lozzy!
Sounds like a packed weekend you've had Waterman! Jayne, night life beckons ;0) lozzy, I like your sawdust tip, you're always tinkering aren't you :0)
I'm going to use that in my hosta pots, I shall remember for next Summer lozzy!

Lina xxx Nice to see you my lovely.where have you been hiding? ;o}

I've been down here since Monday, was staying until Thursday, but due to unforeseen events I'm going home today.

How are you? :o}
Had a break Waterman, I'm good!
Question Author
Sounds good Lina. fighting fit now is it? :o}
Hi Elina, don't have a snail problem here, too dry. Yep!! always fiddling with something ;-).

I could post you many kilos of sawdust, probably cheaper for you to talk to a local tinkerer.

Hope the unforeseen events aren't too dramatic Boaty....Fingers crossed.
Ha, I'm covering at mums so just showing my face ;0)
There's a pet shop near me lozzy, sure I've seen some for sale in there cheap.
Question Author
Right Lina. :o}

oz it's a serious illness that has to be dealt with. Too involved to go into detail.
Morning everybody. I have been awake here in Angola since 5.30 am. On a business trip and in a hotel in Luanda. Was woken by a volley of loud bangs. Looked out thinking it was gunfire. It was fireworks. Since then there is VERY loud music and between lots of shouting. So it's some kind of rock concert! Will try to go back to sleep in a minute.
Hope things get better Waterman.
