Why?
Because most acts score 0 for talent, and 0 for entertainment value.
Jedward score 0 for talent, and 3 for entertainment value.
Wagner scores 0 for talent, and 5 for entertainment value ...
... which is why the public will keep voting for him.
X Factor has taught us to accept mediocre rubbish.
We get what we deserve.

I must admit I didn't like them when they were on X factor, but admit they were very entertaining, full of life all that jumping about but then again they are young and raring to go. At least they are doing what they enjoy and earning money for it rather than some of the young of today who prefer to sit about on their bottoms doing sod all and getting benefits for doing it!
Best of luck to them I say................

Agree with Jayne to a point.
They cant sing or act, but I did find them entertaining on X Factor. It was always a " Corrr, what they gonna do next?" moment each time they were on, and I admit to grinning each time they were on- they were fun!
Jayne's point of "Because they are, at the moment, the best product of X Factor.", is totally wrong though (sorry Jayne). Surely the best and most worthwhile product was Leona Lewi?. She's fantastic and I love how the programme 'discovered' her.

B00 ...
I agree, Leona Lewis was good.
But, as for other winners ... like that Leon kid ... err, who ????
Let's be honest ... none of the remaining contestants are exactly brilliant. And these sorry bunch are the best 9 out of ... how many people originally applied? 200,000 !!
Yes, these are the best 9 out of a pool of 200,000 !
And that is why, as a means of discovering "talent", the show is a total waste of time.

The difference it makes, Butch, is ...
The ones who succeed are not always the ones who win.
They've seen all the competitors, and they already know who they will pick for recording contracts, regardless of whether they win or not (eg Diana Vickers, JLS, etc).
But they will continue to take a few more £m's off the public, through their phone bills, on the ludicrous pretence that picking a winner is somehow relevant.
How stupid are the public? Very!
How clever (and wealthy, at our expense) is Simon Cowell? Very!
