Design an egg

My 6 year old has to design an egg for school - there is no theme or any guidance on what is needed. I am not artisitc so I need some ideas that are easy to do but wont look too rubbish (basically I will make it but it will be so crap that it will look like he has done it!). Thanks

When I was at schooI had to do this.I dug out our old fish bowl, put pebbles in the bottom, painted the boiled egg orange and stuck on little cardboard fins. Just put it on the pebbles in the tank. I won!

Go for words that begin ex and dress the egg in that fashion - stand it in a plain egg cup or part of an egg carton first. e.g. eggsecutioner - axe and mask. That might be a tad inappropriate so let's move on to eggscavate - spade. eggschequer - budget bag, eggscursion - suitcase or a suitcase label, eggsercise - sweatband, eggspensive - diamonds, eggsploding, eggstend, the possibilities are endless.

hard boil an egg
paint it
let it dry
use nail enamel to draw something on it like a face
voila

or, go to the shops like people have been doing all day today and but some easter stickers like wot we sell at 1.24 a packet!
