A lovely time was had with friends. They liked the gluten free pudding enough to ask for the recipe. The wee white tornado was having a great time too. She always moans like a good'un being put into the car, but when they turned left at the end of their road she knew exactly where she was going. She had a great time too. :o}

Very quiet here too. I only heard a few little bangs in the distance. Normally people here opposite me on millionaires' row make a point of having ostentatious displays. Didn't see a single firework in the sky and it is not due to the weather as it is calm and dry here.

I won't say recovered but I'm so much better in that I can now stand and walk (albeit with a frame) without any pain or feeling I might collapse any moment.

After a two-year battle with the landlords I have finally been given permission to keep a mobility scooter in my flat. This will give me a new lease of life as I will be able to get out and about around the doors.

That's great news jack. you'll get a lot of benefit from your scooter, especially in summer.
