Some people just can't live on their own - they need people constantly.

I don't even think mines been deliberate
I have never lived alone either, Smow. It's just worked out that way.
probably circumstantial
I have never lived alone either.
I know loads who walked from being in family ie parents and siblings right into marriage - hubby and kids - I guess that is the norm.

Believe it or not myself and 6 siblings have lived on our own for many years. And we like it that way - I never craved for it (company).
I had my first child at 18 so have never really had the opportunity.

I've often watched tv programmes with envy - woman/man coming home, pouring glass of wine, feet up etc...... Ol
don't be envious - as a friend said to me Jenny - you sit in that hole in the settee and the worries of the day can come to me - truly unbelievable.

But I guess I take the worries on or have done but am doing my best now not to be so involved.

Don't worry worry till worry worries you!!!
I married straight from my parents but I couldn’t go on every trip with DH so lived alone for 3 month stretches. I live alone now of course except for the dogs...its no big deal.
I like being alone.
Ummmm - you like being alone knowing you will never be alone.
what does dh mean
My husband JJ
Very true, Jenny.

That is so true Jenny! But I do like my own company!
I've never lived on my own. I am likely to be left alone because Mr J2 is 17 yrs. my senior - I don't think I will cope very well. I sometimes hope that I go first - but I can't wish widowhood on him a second time, it's my turn.

I am good at isolating myself with books and writing, so I guess that will be my path - plus chatting here. :)
I've never lived on my own and sometimes wonder if I've missed out. That being said, if I ever live on my own in the future it'll be because I've lost someone so I think I'll give it a miss.
I agree with rocky, although I'm sure I could quite happily live on my own. And the food bill would reduced dramatically! I could live on porridge for brunch, then a jacket potato with tuna, or egg mayonnaise for dinner ;)

I'd never lived alone until eight years ago this month when I was widowed.
